“Multiverse” Concept Photos Show 1VERSE’s Identity
The newly released “Multiverse Concept Photo 1” features members Hyuk, Nathan, and Kenny, giving fans an early look at the group’s layered debut story. The name 1VERSE — pronounced “universe” — symbolizes how each member’s unique “verse” forms one powerful story.
The Multiverse theme hints at different sides of the members’ lives, showing how they blend diverse backgrounds into one K-Pop group that represents unity and individuality at the same time.

1VERSE’s Groundbreaking Member Lineup
One reason the 1VERSE debut stands out is the group’s diverse makeup. 1VERSE is the first K-Pop boy group to include North Korean defectors, breaking new ground in the industry. The final 1VERSE lineup is:
- Hyuk (Korean, North Korean defector)
- Seok (Korean, North Korean defector)
- Aito (Japanese)
- Kenny (Chinese-American)
- Nathan (Laotian-Thai American)
Their agency, Singing Beetle, was founded by Michelle Cho, a former SM Entertainment A&R rep. The group is committed to bridging cultures by learning each other’s languages and telling honest stories through music.
Interestingly, both Kenny and Aito were once SM Entertainment trainees — and Kenny helped scout Aito and Nathan for the final 1VERSE lineup. Even before The 1st Verse release date, 1VERSE has been steadily growing a fanbase by sharing their pre-debut training on social media and YouTube. Their debut showcase on July 18 was livestreamed worldwide to welcome fans into their “Multiverse.”
With their bold Multiverse concept, boundary-pushing member lineup, and strong storytelling, 1VERSE’s debut with The 1st Verse is ready to make waves in the global K-Pop scene. Fans are excited to see how the group combines each “verse” into one powerful universe of music. For more K-Pop content, check out the link below.
