Beloved idol band DAY6 is set to touch hearts once again with their upcoming digital single “Maybe Tomorrow,” scheduled for release on May 7th at 6 PM (KST).
On April 30, JYP Entertainment unveiled a track visualizer teaser across official SNS channels, giving fans a first look—and listen—at the new music. The animated teaser captivated viewers with its soft, emotive visuals and reflective tone, offering a glimpse into the emotional narrative DAY6 is known for.
The title track “Maybe Tomorrow” promises to be a song of quiet hope and healing. With lyrics such as “May tomorrow’s hurt be a little less painful than today, wait for the day when I get a smile”, the song gently captures the bittersweet longing for emotional recovery. Another poignant line, “You never say I love you, I never got a thank you, maybe I was wanting too much,” underscores the track’s emotional honesty and depth.
This marks DAY6’s first release of 2025, following their September 2024 digital single and the acclaimed mini-album ‘Band Aid’, which featured the title track ‘Break Down’. The new song was written by Young K, with composition credits also going to Hong Ji-sang, who has worked on many of DAY6’s previous hits, alongside members Sungjin and Young K themselves.
Following the digital single’s release, DAY6 will take the stage at KSPO DOME (Olympic Gymnastics Stadium) in Songpa-gu, Seoul for the grand finale of their world tour. Performances will run across two weekends, May 9–11 and May 16, all held in a 360-degree stage format, with all seats completely sold out, demonstrating the band’s unwavering popularity and the deep bond they share with their global fandom, My Day.
With “Maybe Tomorrow,” DAY6 continues their legacy of emotionally resonant storytelling through music—offering a comforting anthem for those navigating pain and seeking solace in tomorrow.
