The Twitch community is buzzing with controversy as Kai Cenat responds to Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel’s recent allegations that his close friends, Rakai and Reggie, are guilty of viewbotting—a tactic used to artificially inflate viewer numbers.
The tension erupted on April 9, when xQc, also active on KICK, publicly accused the two of suspiciously jumping from 800 to 30,000 viewers overnight, with unusually low chat activity (less than 20%). “I don’t give a f*ck, they’re all viewbotters… from 1K Andy to 20K overnight? I’ve been here before. They’re botted out the wazoo,” xQc stated. He clarified that he wasn’t accusing Kai himself, acknowledging the AMP member has “been really legit on all fronts.”
Still, Kai Cenat didn’t hold back in his response, saying he’s tired of taking the high road. “I ain’t gon lie, I can ask Reggie, do you know who xQc is? He don’t even know, bro.” He went on to say, “From the outside perspective, Felix, this is not no diss or nothing, it just look like you’re d*ck eating and it’s weird.”
Though Kai emphasized there’s no personal hate, he stood firm in defending his friends, calling for accountability and fairness in addressing such accusations.
Not backing down, xQc doubled down on his claims, stating, “I truly believe it… whether it’s them, a viewer, a mod, an agency, or some Bulgarian basement dweller bot maneuverer, somebody is tampering.”
Interestingly, fans pointed out that Kai had previously raided both Rakai and Reggie, and encouraged his massive fanbase to support them—something xQc seemingly sees as potential cover for suspicious growth.
xQc has been vocal about viewbotting’s harmful impact, recently calling out QueenGloriaRP for a similar incident. With tensions high, this latest drama adds to ongoing debates about authenticity and fairness in the streaming world.
