The trio, who worked together on the upcoming JTBC drama Good Boy, opened up about their year-long filming experience and shared heartfelt stories about Park’s kindness and work ethic.
Lee Sang Yi reveals underwater filming story with Park Bo Gum praised for support
Lee Sang Yi recalled a particularly difficult moment involving an underwater scene. Despite having a phobia of deep water, he managed to film the scene with Park Bo Gum’s encouragement. “I’m okay with pool water, but diving is another level. I felt panicked when I removed the breathing gear,” Lee shared. “Bo Gum told me, ‘Hyung, I’ll protect you,’ and stayed by my side.”
He also praised Park’s exceptional swimming skills, saying, “He’s really like a seal. Did you see When Life Gives You Tangerines? He swam in the ocean without a double.”

The admiration didn’t stop at his professionalism. Lee Sang Yi recounted how Park Bo Gum quietly cleaned the shower area after filming, saying, “A beautiful person is beautiful even in how they live.” Heo Sung Tae added another story, mentioning that Bo Gum consistently washed dishes after meals without being asked.
Lee further revealed, “Bo Gum doesn’t do it for attention—it’s just who he is.” He also showed off a jacket that Park gifted him after Lee complimented it during filming. Heo confirmed he received a similar gift.
