Mercy for None Episode 6 Recap: Gi-jun Framed, Power Shifts Begin
Mercy for None Episode 6 begins with Geum-son and Yeong-do plotting the final blow against Ju-woon now that Bongsan is down. Yeong-do urges Geum-son to take out his father while the opportunity is ripe. But before that plan unfolds, Yeong-do crosses paths with Gi-jun, who attacks him. An Tae-hwan, now out of prison, intervenes long enough for Yeong-do to escape.
Suspicious of Ju-woon’s involvement in the ambush, Yeong-do demands a meeting. The next day, Ju-woon prepares for a board meeting only to be blocked by Geum-son, who declares control over Juwoon Group. Despite Ju-woon’s warnings, Geum-son insists this is the life he always wanted and walks out with Seong-cheol.
While Yeong-do lies low at the police station, he sends Tae-hwan out in his car as a decoy. Seong-won’s crew tracks the vehicle and tips off Gi-jun. Meanwhile, the Juwoon Group boardroom erupts in chaos as directors resist Geum-son—until one man’s screams from outside force them into fearful submission. At home, Ju-woon readies a gun from his safe.
Gi-jun catches up to Tae-hwan, and the two engage in a brutal fight. Tae-hwan blames Gi-jun for the humiliation and loss of his hand over a decade ago. Gi-jun gains the upper hand, and Tae-hwan, defeated, finishes the stab wound himself.

Elsewhere, Yeong-do confronts Ju-woon at home. A scuffle ends with Yeong-do fatally shooting Ju-woon. When Gi-jun arrives, he finds Ju-woon’s corpse in a chair—only for Yeong-do and police to storm in and arrest him. A flashback reveals Geum-son heard everything through a planted bug.
At the station, Yeong-do admits to Gi-jun that he helped orchestrate Gi-seok’s death. Gi-jun later escapes a staged prison transport and is aided by Seong-won, who was supposed to fake his death but instead gives him tools to survive—and leaves the country.
Meanwhile, Geum-son plays a recording of Yeong-do murdering Ju-woon to Seong-cheol. Rather than retaliate directly, he leverages his prosecutor power to raid Yeong-do’s office. Warned not to return, Yeong-do contacts Geum-son, who reveals the betrayal.
Geum-son then meets Kaneyama—the assassin who killed Gi-seok. Previously aided by Yeong-do with a false identity, Kaneyama is now offered freedom if he kills Gi-jun. As Yeong-do’s world crumbles, one of his men picks up a package from a golf club.
A flashback reveals Geum-son originally pitched the entire blood-soaked scheme to Yeong-do: kill Gi-seok, frame Jun-mo, and ignite a war. But Yeong-do recorded the conversation. The episode closes as he stores the evidence in a flash drive, preparing his own counterstrike.
