ITZY’s Yuna to Make Acting Debut in Miss Undercover Boss
ITZY’s Yuna is officially making her long-awaited acting debut. As confirmed on July 1 by OSEN and tvN, the ITZY Yuna acting debut will happen in Miss Undercover Boss, a retro office comedy set to premiere in the first half of 2026. Fans are already buzzing to see how the K-pop star will shine in her first K-drama role.
Yuna Acting Debut Joins a Star-Studded Cast
tvN confirmed the news to Dispatch, revealing that Yuna will appear alongside Park Shin Hye, Go Kyung Pyo, Ha Yun Kyung, and Cho Han Gyul. Miss Undercover Boss follows Sammo Hung (played by Park Shin Hye), a 35-year-old elite securities supervisor who only knows work. Using her youthful looks, she secretly gets hired as a 20-year-old high school graduate to investigate suspicious fund flows at a securities firm during the late 1990s IMF crisis.

Yuna’s Role in Miss Undercover Boss
In this project, Yuna plays Hong Jang Mi, the cheerful and lively younger sister of the main character, Sammo Hung. Fans are eager to see how the ITZY Yuna acting debut captures her playful charisma off stage and transforms it for the screen.
The series will be directed by Park Sun Ho, known for Business Proposal and Suspicious Partner, and written by Moon Hyun-kyung, who also penned Into The Ring. Production will be handled by Celltrion Entertainment and Studio Dragon.
