Big Hit Music Unveils New Young Creator Crew
Big Hit Music — the powerhouse label behind global sensations BTS and TXT — is officially launching a brand-new group, marking its first fresh debut in six years since TXT burst onto the scene in 2019.
According to Big Hit Music’s announcement on July 14, the new team, dubbed the Young Creator Crew, features Martin, James, Joo-hoon, Sung-hyun, and Gun-ho. The group will make their highly anticipated debut on August 18.
Unlike traditional K-pop groups, this crew stands out for its collaborative, boundary-breaking style. All five members are teenagers who actively create their own music, choreography, and even video content — drawing directly from their own stories and perspectives. They aren’t restricted to fixed roles; instead, they work as a tight-knit collective where each member contributes across songwriting, composing, performing, and production.

What’s more, these rookies aren’t starting from scratch — they’ve already made waves behind the scenes. Martin has co-created songs for senior HYBE artists like TXT’s “Deja Vu” and “Miracle (Miracles happen every moment we are together),” plus ENHYPEN’s “Outside,” LE SSERAFIM’s “Pierrot,” and AILET’s “Magnetic.” James has lent his skills to choreography for TXT’s “Deja Vu” and AILET’s “Magnetic,” “Cherish (My Love),” and “Tick-Tack,” while also co-writing several of these tracks with Martin.
More details about Joo-hoon, Sung-hyun, Gun-ho, and the overall team concept will roll out soon, keeping fans on their toes ahead of the August debut.
Big Hit Music, known for pushing creative boundaries and championing artists who resonate deeply with listeners worldwide, is expected to blaze another trail with this innovative, self-producing “Young Creator Crew.” With a legacy that includes Lee Hyun, BTS, and TXT, all eyes are on Big Hit’s next-generation team as they prepare to make their mark on the global music stage.
