Trent Alexander-Arnold is reportedly close to making his long-awaited Liverpool return after struggling with injuries since joining Real Madrid. The former Reds star, who suffered a hamstring injury that sidelined him for six weeks, is now eyeing a comeback in time for Madrid’s Champions League clash against Liverpool at Anfield.

According to reports in Spain, the 27-year-old has made significant progress in his recovery and could be fit to play on November 4. With four matches left before Real Madrid’s trip to Merseyside, Alexander-Arnold is hopeful of completing his rehabilitation and returning to action by the end of that stretch.

The English full-back’s time in Spain has been challenging so far. He sustained the hamstring injury during the early stages of Madrid’s Champions League game against Marseille, leaving him devastated. It was a difficult setback after what had been a promising start to life at the Santiago Bernabéu.
