How does anyone handle four long-haul flights and five performances in just a few days?
Jang Wonyoung, IVE’s radiant all-rounder and global ambassador, recently opened up about her whirlwind schedule during her appearance on MMTG episode 285. Host JaeJae laid out Wonyoung’s jaw-dropping itinerary, which read more like a global tour than a typical idol week:
From Akaraka Festival straight to Paris for a FRED event, then back to Korea for Chungbuk National University’s festival, followed by a 5 a.m. recording, a live Music Bank appearance, multiple university festival performances, a fansign event, and then—once again—flying back to Paris to attend a Miu Miu event. All within days.

When asked, “Is this real?”, Wonyoung smiled, showing grace under pressure.
“Sleep is sleep,” she admitted. “But because I had a lot of schedules, it put a lot of pressure on me… on my physical strength. They were all schedules that were important to me, so there was nothing I could do.”
Despite the exhaustion, Wonyoung still found time to preorder a meaningful gift for Miu Miu’s designer—a business card case and pen embroidered with traditional Korean designs.
“I wanted to give something that represents Korea,” she said.
JaeJae praised not only Wonyoung’s professionalism but also her thoughtful diplomacy, saying, “You handled your busy schedule, and you handled your social life well too.”
In reflecting on her experience, Wonyoung shared:
“I think it was a time when I realized that there were a lot of situations that I couldn’t help.”
Even with such a packed calendar, Wonyoung shows no signs of slowing down. Her dedication to every role she takes—whether on stage, at a photoshoot, or walking a red carpet—is a true reflection of her work ethic and maturity beyond her years.
At just 19, Wonyoung isn’t just chasing excellence—she’s setting the standard.
