BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars’ “APT.” continues its impressive run!

On April 20 at around 8 p.m. KST, the music video for “APT.” officially surpassed 1.5 billion views on YouTube. This means it only took approximately six months, two days, and seven hours (or 184 days) to achieve this milestone since its release on October 18, 2024, at 1 p.m. KST.

With this, “APT.” now holds the record as the fastest music video by an Asian artist to surpass 1.5 billion views on the platform.

It is also now tied with J Balvin and Willy William’s “Mi Gente” as the third fastest music video of all time to reach the 1.5 billion mark at 184.3 days, following Luis Fonsi’s “Despacito” featuring Daddy Yankee and Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You.”
