Episode 2 of Weak Hero Class 2 kicks off by introducing two important new faces: Park Hu-min and Go Hyun-tak. Both are key players on Eunjang High’s basketball team, though their team spirit is dampened—Hu-min has been suspended, and without him, the team can’t enter an upcoming tournament. Hyun-tak, frustrated, storms off to confront a teacher but is distracted when he notices a commotion nearby.
Following the crowd, Hyun-tak arrives at Class 4, where Si-eun is taking a brutal beating from Hyo-man. True to his character, Si-eun doesn’t fight back—he simply takes the blows, though he does dodge a punch, which enrages Hyo-man even more. Hyun-tak intervenes, stepping between the two. A tense standoff ensues, with Hyo-man mockingly calling Hyun-tak “Hu-min’s minion.” In response, Hyun-tak delivers a precise back kick that stops just short of Hyo-man’s nose, leaving him shivering in fear. Hyun-tak reminds him that he could take him down at any time.
With Hyo-man humiliated, he storms out of the classroom. Meanwhile, Si-eun pays little attention to Hyun-tak’s show of strength and focuses instead on helping the badly beaten Jun-tae. Jun-tae refuses to go to the nurse’s office, explaining that visiting the nurse only worsens the cycle—getting Hyo-man in trouble, which leads to even worse beatings.
Curious, Si-eun asks Jun-tae why he risked everything to return the stolen phones. Jun-tae, in his innocent way, proudly credits Newton’s Third Law. Si-eun almost corrects him but leaves it alone as Jun-tae’s friends rush in to check on him.
Later, Hyun-tak overhears students gossiping about Si-eun’s dark past at his former school. Though skeptical of the delinquents’ exaggerated claims, Hyun-tak grows increasingly curious about Si-eun.
After school, Jun-tae runs to catch Si-eun and hands him a small gift: lutein and magnesium supplements. Jun-tae explains that lutein helps with focus, while magnesium promotes better sleep. That night, Si-eun decides to take Jun-tae’s supplements instead of his usual sleeping pills, symbolizing a small but significant step toward healing.
The next day, Si-eun feels noticeably sharper and more rested. He joins Jun-tae for lunch, thanking him for the thoughtful gift. The two spend time hanging out afterward, casually watching Hyun-tak and his friends practice basketball.
However, trouble brews again when Hyo-man approaches with his fake friendliness. He plants seeds of distrust, telling Si-eun that Hyun-tak plans to fight him. Then, with devilish cunning, Hyo-man also stirs up Hyun-tak by suggesting that Si-eun is scheming against him.
Jun-tae heads to the restroom before the fifth period but doesn’t return. Si-eun soon finds out why: Jun-tae has been locked inside a locker by Hyo-man’s gang since lunchtime. Meanwhile, Hyo-man vandalizes the basketball clubroom, making it seem like Si-eun was the culprit.
News reaches Hyun-tak that Si-eun is trashing their clubroom. Furious, he rushes over and sees Si-eun leaving the scene. Without hearing an explanation, Hyun-tak assumes the worst.
On his way home, Si-eun knowingly takes the shortcut through bully territory. He is fully aware that a confrontation awaits but reasons that taking a detour would be a waste of time.
Hyun-tak confronts Si-eun, accusing him of hypocrisy—pretending to be righteous while destroying lives behind the scenes. He mentions Su-ho’s coma, triggering Si-eun’s suppressed guilt and anger. A fierce fight breaks out between the two.
Their brawl is interrupted when Hyo-man and his gang appear, hoping to capitalize on the chaos. Outnumbered, Si-eun and Hyun-tak are forced to fight together. They manage to hold their ground, but the odds are against them.
Just when the situation looks bleak, Park Hu-min makes a dramatic entrance. His mere presence sends the bullies scrambling. As Hyo-man attempts to strike Si-eun with a baseball bat, Hu-min effortlessly slams a basketball into Hyo-man’s head, knocking him out cold. Si-eun, impressed by Hu-min’s precision and calm demeanor, takes notice.
Hu-min casually asks who Si-eun is, saying he hasn’t seen him around before. Yet Hu-min seems amused and acknowledges that Si-eun “has some guts.”
The alliances at Eunjang High are beginning to shift—and Si-eun, whether he likes it or not, is right at the center of it.
