Singer Ailee and actor-turned-entrepreneur Choi Si-hoon recently shared heartwarming updates from their honeymoon, giving fans a glimpse into their joyful newlywed life.
The couple officially tied the knot on April 20th in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Although they registered their marriage back in August last year, the wedding ceremony was held just recently, surrounded by warm congratulations from colleagues in the entertainment industry.
Their honeymoon destinations included Dubai and the Maldives. Ailee posted photos from the first day of their stay at a desert glamping resort in Dubai, writing, “I’m enjoying a full day in a cool pool under the hot sun — it’s a really romantic day.” In the photo, Ailee and Choi Si-hoon flash radiant smiles while posing affectionately in front of a desert and pool backdrop.
The romance continued in the Maldives, where Choi Si-hoon shared more pictures from their trip via social media, captioning one post, “The Maldives is a real paradise. I’m falling in love a hundred times a day.” One photo shows the couple walking hand-in-hand along a transparent, turquoise shoreline — the blissful scene drawing admiration and envy from fans.

In particular, Ailee delighted followers with a playful update: she and Choi Si-hoon wore matching hats at a Maldivian resort and toasted with wine. “I feel like I married a comedian,” she joked, unable to hold back laughter at her husband’s fun antics. She also captured the moment Choi Si-hoon looked surprised while opening champagne, further highlighting the couple’s light-hearted and loving chemistry.
Following the ceremony, Ailee expressed her gratitude: “I cried during the wedding, overwhelmed by the presence of so many guests. I sincerely thank my family, mentors, and friends. We promise to be a couple that respects and loves each other deeply.”
Ailee, who debuted in 2012, has become one of Korea’s leading vocalists with hits such as “I Will Show You,” “I Will Go to You Like the First Snow,” and “Evening Sky.” Her husband, Choi Si-hoon, gained public attention through Netflix’s dating reality show “Single’s Inferno” Season 1, and has since transitioned into the F&B and MCN industries.
