Arsenal’s Transfer Plans: Šeško or Gyökeres?
Arsenal are actively scouting striker reinforcements, and Benjamin Šeško has emerged as a primary Arsenal transfer target if they fail to secure Viktor Gyökeres. The Independent reports that Arsenal are currently focused on two forwards: Šeško and Santiago Giménez (referred to in the video as Yárez, possibly a mix-up).
- Šeško, the 21-year-old RB Leipzig striker, is gaining attention for his physical presence and finishing skills.
- Giménez (if that’s who “Yárez” refers to) is more experienced but will be nearing 30 soon, which may affect long-term planning.
Arteta reportedly prefers a younger profile, but it depends on market movement.
Liverpool Transfer Update: Wirtz, Frimpong & Kerkez
- Florian Wirtz: Fabrizio Romano confirms Liverpool have held talks but believe Wirtz is likely to stay at Bayer Leverkusen or join Bayern Munich. Wirtz prefers staying in the Bundesliga for now, with Bayern leading the race.
- Jeremie Frimpong: A deal between Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen is advancing. Personal terms have been agreed, and final club negotiations are underway.
- Milos Kerkez: Liverpool are reportedly targeting the AFC Bournemouth left-back for around £40 million. The 20-year-old has impressed this season, and alongside Antonee Robinson of Fulham, is considered one of the most consistent left-backs in the league.
Newcastle Target Dortmund Duo
- Jamie Bynoe-Gittens: Newcastle are now competing with Arsenal and Chelsea for the promising Borussia Dortmund winger.
- Gregor Kobel: The Dortmund goalkeeper is also on Newcastle’s shortlist.
These potential signings suggest Newcastle are investing in young, high-potential Bundesliga talent.
Man United Confident on Cunha
- Matheus Cunha: Manchester United remain optimistic about signing the Wolves striker. Cunha is reportedly keen on the project, with the clubs finalizing transfer terms.
Wrexham Want Tom Cairney
- Tom Cairney: The Fulham midfielder is being targeted by newly-promoted Wrexham, who are reportedly willing to offer £50,000 a week.
- While that’s high for the Championship, it wouldn’t make him the league’s top earner. Players like Patrick Bamford (£70k) and Junior Firpo (£60k) are earning more at Leeds.
There’s concern about investing that much in Cairney, who is turning 35 next year, rather than using that money on younger players with resale value or Premier League potential.
