From the World of John Wick: BALLERINA

The Ballerina John Wick movie spoiler begins with a haunting hospital scene—Eve Macarro (Victoria Comte) sits bloodied, clutching a ballerina toy. We’re taken back to her childhood, where she lives peacefully with her father Javier (David Castañeda) until assassins raid their home. Javier tries to protect her, killing many attackers, but when The Chancellor (Gabriel Byrne) arrives, he demands Javier kill himself to spare Eve. Javier instead attempts to escape but is mortally wounded, dying outside as their house explodes.

Eve is placed under Winston Scott’s (Ian McShane) care and brought to the Ruska Roma, where she’s trained in ballet and assassination by The Director (Anjelica Huston). As a teen (Ana de Armas), she grows close to a fellow trainee, Tatiana, who vanishes under unclear circumstances. When John Wick visits during Chapter 3, Eve expresses her wish to become like him. John warns that it’s a path that must be chosen—not stumbled into.

Years later, Eve completes her first mission by protecting a target in a nightclub and violently dispatching an entire crew of attackers. After another job, cult gunmen attack her. She kills them and discovers an X-shaped scar linking them to her father’s killers. She brings the severed hand of one attacker to The Director, who acknowledges the connection but refuses to help due to an old truce with the cult.

Eve then seeks help from Winston, who sends her to a weapons dealer, Daniel Pine (Norman Reedus). At the Prague Continental, she meets Pine, but the cult—alerted by Lena (Catalina Sandino Moreno)—ambushes them. A bloody battle follows. Pine is wounded, and his daughter Ella (Ava McCarthy) is kidnapped. Eve is captured by the Ruska Roma and forced to fight Petra (Rila Fukushima), another assassin who warns Eve of the toll this life takes. Eve wins but defies The Director by continuing her vendetta.

Tracking the cult to a remote Austrian mountain village, Eve is ambushed and taken to The Chancellor. In a brutal twist, he reveals Lena is actually Eve’s older sister, left behind in the cult while Eve was spared. Ella is also revealed to be The Chancellor’s granddaughter. He orders their execution, but Lena is killed in an explosion while Eve survives.

The Director sends John Wick to stop Eve, but after a brutal duel, he lets her go, giving her until midnight. In a fiery final assault, Eve torches cult members, faces off with Dex (Robert Masser) using a flamethrower, and finally kills The Chancellor. She rescues Ella and reunites her with Pine.
