Amid growing controversy surrounding Kim Ri-won, a cast member of Korea’s first female homosexual reality show ‘Your Love’, attention has now turned to singer Ailee’s husband, actor Choi Si-hoon.

Choi Si-hoon, known for his past appearance on dating reality shows, is facing allegations that he was the agency representative when Kim Ri-won was active as a “naked BJ” (broadcast jockey) in the past. The controversy began after messages surfaced implying that Choi was involved in Kim’s earlier broadcasting career.

Kim Ri-won quickly responded to the rumors, saying, “He’s someone who’s often given me advice, but he is not my personal entertainment agency representative as some have misunderstood.”

‘Your Love’, which premiered on March 25 and gained attention as Korea’s first female same-sex dating reality program, has since been overshadowed by scandal.

Criticism initially focused on Kim Ri-won’s past online activities and her sexual orientation. Some viewers questioned her inclusion on the show, claiming she is heterosexual and pointing to her controversial past. Addressing this directly, Kim stated, “It is true that I once appeared as a naked BJ, but I am not heterosexual.”

The controversy deepened when another contestant, Han-joon, alleged on social media that Kim Ri-won had made an inappropriate offer. Screenshots of conversations between the two included Kim mentioning she would introduce Han-joon to someone through her agency, allegedly identifying the person as “the representative of an influencer agency.” The name mentioned in online speculation: Choi Si-hoon.

This fueled further debate online, with netizens questioning Choi’s involvement. However, after Kim Ri-won clarified that Choi was not her representative and had only offered personal advice, the controversy began to subside.

Despite the ongoing public discussion, the show’s producers have not released an official statement regarding the issue.
