Comedian Park So-young opened up about her current efforts to conceive on the YouTube show Junho Jimin.
On May 1, a new video featuring comedians Onami and Park So-young was posted to the Junho Jimin YouTube channel. During the episode, Park So-young shared joyful updates about her married life with former baseball player Moon Kyung-chan, whom she wed in December last year.
When asked about their plans to have a baby, Park So-young said with a laugh, “I think I’m pregnant every day,” bringing laughter to the set. She went on to admit, “We haven’t used contraception since our honeymoon. I thought I’d get pregnant right away without it, but that wasn’t the case.” Her candid confession drew surprised reactions from the others.
Park also shared a humorous anecdote from their honeymoon, saying, “I kept getting frustrated, thinking something was wrong, but I later found out I had a case of ‘Valley Valley’ (pelvic inflammation),” explaining that she had attempted to conceive again after recovering, but it didn’t work out.
She added, “They say it’s good to go to the OB-GYN and plan the timing with the doctor,” revealing that while they are currently trying for a natural pregnancy, they are also open to exploring in vitro fertilization if necessary.
