Crushology 101 kicks off with our leading lady Bunny (Han Ji-hyo) confessing one universal truth: she has always been a sucker for handsome men. We see her through the years, melting over pretty faces like it’s her superpower. Now a sculpture student at Yein University—and a surprisingly talented one at that—she introduces us to her current boyfriend, Ko Bong-soo (Kim Hyun-jin). There’s just one thing: he’s not handsome. At least, not in the way Bunny’s friends expected.
Nam Kkot-nim and Kwon Bo-bae are visibly confused. How did this happen? As Bunny explains, Bong-soo courted her with relentless persistence, and eventually she caved—figuring that maybe what matters most is a guy liking her. Plus, she’s convinced attractive guys are out of her league. For what it’s worth, Bong-soo seems sweet. He gifts her a pearl necklace, but before he can put it on, a gorgeous stranger knocks him flat. Classic foreshadowing.
Enter Cha Ji-won (Lee Chae-min), the new transfer student who joins Bunny’s department. Cue the slow-mo walk and sparkly lighting. And he’s not the only looker on campus—there’s also Hwang Jae-yeol (Kim Hyeon-woo), confident, competitive, and surrounded by his own clique of eye candy.
Bunny’s world starts crumbling when Bong-soo’s true colors are accidentally revealed. While working in the campus studio, he picks up a call and accidentally hits the “on-air” button. What follows is a public confession that he only dated Bunny to get her into bed. The “overnight trip” he planned was all part of the plot. The room goes silent. Bunny? Devastated. She confronts him in front of the crowd, punches him, and dumps him with a line that deserves its own slow clap.

Crushed and humiliated, Bunny drowns her sorrows with her girls and vows to only date hot guys from now on. Her rebound arc begins immediately.
The next day, she threatens to take a leave from school—something her parents are used to hearing. They suspect she’ll change her mind if a handsome guy crosses her path. Sure enough, she runs into Ji-won on campus, and boom—plans canceled. She walks him to the library and strikes up a surprisingly sweet friendship. Ji-won is polite, a bit awkward, and quickly taken with Bunny’s quirky charm.
Things get complicated when Ji-won and Jae-yeol cross paths and sparks fly—not the romantic kind, but the rivals-at-first-sight kind. Their interactions are frosty at best, and their disdain for each other only grows.
Later, Bunny gets tangled in Jae-yeol’s world by accident—literally. When she tries to “help” him after he slips, she ends up knocking his tablet from his hands. The cracked screen holds an unfinished competition project. Furious but composed, Jae-yeol accepts her apology… on one condition: she’ll pay him back, in installments. They exchange numbers—chaos secured.
That night, Ji-won and Bunny pair up for the freshman initiation. She discovers he’s a chaebol and is adorably stunned. He finds her reactions refreshing, and when she drinks in his place to protect him, he promises her a thank-you meal. Sparks? Yes. Potential? Absolutely.

Meanwhile, Jae-yeol can’t enjoy his own department’s party. He’s too focused on his wrecked tablet and a certain clumsy girl. He steps outside and sees Bunny having the time of her life. She spots him too, and in her drunken state, stumbles over to call him a jerk—then immediately compliments his looks before vomiting all over him. Romance!
The next morning, Jae-yeol is doing laundry and plotting his revenge. At school, he corners Bunny, but she bolts. What follows is a comedic chase through campus, ending at an outdoor event. Bunny tries to hide behind Ji-won, but Jae-yeol pulls her away, and in a chaotic tumble, ends up on top of her. Yep, that kind of drama.
In true K-drama fashion, one episode in and we’ve already got a love triangle, a revenge plot, a viral breakup, and one broken tablet. Class is officially in session.
