Crushology 101 picks up with Bunny questioning the power of words—specifically, how declaring she’d only date handsome men suddenly summoned an army of them into her orbit. Top of the list? Jae-yeol, who’s been chasing her down… strictly to talk about her debt. Bunny, not in the mood for financial drama, shoves him off and escapes with Ji-won. Running away is hard work, so the two end up at the school cafeteria for a casual bonding meal.
As they head to class, Bunny teases Ji-won for comparing himself to her statue. The playful moment is interrupted when Ji-won gets a call from someone saved as “First Love” in his phone. Suspicious. Bunny’s smile fades, and her curiosity about Ji-won’s love life deepens.
Later, Jae-yeol finally corners Bunny and drafts her into his classes to take notes—his way of “compensating” for the cracked tablet. After enduring a note-taking marathon and nearly breaking her wrist, Bunny rethinks her life choices. She almost asks her dad for help but changes her mind after overhearing him stress about new charges from the landlady. So she does the grown-up thing: finds a part-time job at an art exhibition… coincidentally, one by her favorite artist, Jay.
At the gallery, she runs into Cho A-rang—who’s tall, charming, and checks all her handsome-man boxes. He invites her for coffee, and the two casually geek out about Jay’s work. Later that evening, Bunny shares dinner with her parents, who reminisce about their own love story. Her dad believes in destiny. Her mom? Total coincidence. As Bunny watches them, she starts to feel quietly, achingly alone.
Meanwhile, Jae-yeol is grinning like a teenager at Bunny’s meticulous notes. Clearly, someone’s catching feelings.
The next morning, Bunny wakes up from a nightmare and sends Jae-yeol $200, officially knocking her debt down to $1,800. On her way to class, she spots Ji-won with a girl in a wheelchair—his sister, Hye-won. Bunny helps when Hye-won accidentally falls, and Ji-won is visibly moved. Mystery solved: the call from “First Love” was from his sister.
Of course, helping Hye-won ruins Bunny’s clothes. Jae-yeol, ever the antagonist-in-disguise, offers his shirt. She refuses with all her pride intact. Still, he waives the “shirt fee.” Once again, he ropes her into notetaking. By the time she’s done, she’s a walking noodle. She runs into Bo-bae, who’s fresh from drama club rehearsal and hands her a fake arm sling. When Jae-yeol sees Bunny with the sling, he assumes she’s hurt—and lets her off note duty. Bunny doesn’t correct him.
Their next school project takes them to the hospital to paint a mural. Jae-yeol volunteers to take over Bunny’s part so she can “rest.” Guilty, Bunny struggles to come clean—until she breaks her own cover by rushing to catch him during a near fall. Busted. Jae-yeol is not amused. He makes her finish the mural solo.
The next day, Jae-yeol and Dong-ha head to a café where Dong-ha flirts hopelessly with Bo-bae, who has no time for him. Bunny swings by to drop off candy, completely ignoring Jae-yeol. He storms after her. She calmly reminds him that she’s repaid her debt and wants nothing to do with him. Oof. Ego = shattered.

Bunny, meanwhile, is in a great mood—her class guest lecturer turns out to be Jay himself. Surprise twist: Jay is A-rang. He explains why he hid his identity, but Bunny’s just thrilled to know him. Ji-won quietly tags along, the awkward third wheel.
Back in his class, Jae-yeol is a mess. Bunny’s words echo in his head. Unable to focus, he charges over to her department—just in time to see A-rang gently pluck cherry blossom petals from Bunny’s hair. It’s a K-drama level slow-motion moment. Jealousy? Activated. Without missing a beat, Jae-yeol calls out to her. As everything freezes, he walks up and asks, almost helplessly, “What do we do? I need to keep seeing you.”
A few days later, Ji-won brings up Bunny’s “debt” with Jae-yeol. She brushes it off and sets her sights on a tablet giveaway at a campus strength competition. Winner gets the tablet—perfect for clearing her dues once and for all. She joins, dominates, wins the tablet, and gifts it to Jae-yeol. Then, without a second thought, she cuts ties. Just like that.
Jae-yeol is left reeling. Why is she suddenly ghosting him after everything? He turns to Dong-ha, who delivers the truth: “Yeah… you were kinda harsh. Can you blame her?”
Elsewhere, Bunny invites Ji-won to hang out with her friends. Unsurprisingly, her girls are charmed by Ji-won’s polite manners and good looks. The conversation turns to Bunny’s romantic prospects. Bo-bae and Nam Kkot-nim encourage her to give A-rang or Jae-yeol a real chance. Ji-won’s name? Not even brought up. But like the true quiet hero he is, Ji-won simply smiles and tells Bunny to take her time—and follow her heart.
