The global electronic dance music festival EDC Korea 2025 came to a spectacular close on April 25–26 at Discovery Park, located within the Incheon Inspire Entertainment Resort, drawing a massive crowd of 50,000 passionate attendees.
This year’s edition of EDC Korea featured five dynamic stages—Kinetic Field, Circuit Grounds, Stereo Bloom, Bionic Jungle, and Boombox Art Car—each tailored to highlight different EDM sub-genres including house, techno, and trance. The festival’s immersive stage designs and curated soundscapes provided an electrifying musical journey for fans.
The star-studded lineup boasted world-renowned DJs such as Martin Garrix, Skrillex, and Steve Aoki, with Korean-born global icon Peggy Gou proudly introducing herself as “the daughter of Incheon” before delivering a powerful hometown set. Steve Aoki’s performance reached a fever pitch when Monsta X’s Shownu made a surprise guest appearance, sending the crowd into a frenzy.
Korea’s first-ever EDM girl group, Oson Dosson, also made their official debut at the festival, signaling a fresh wave in the K-EDM landscape.
Throughout the weekend, the crowd’s energy never waned. Fans captured and shared the exhilarating moments on social media in real time, helping spread EDC’s vibrant culture beyond borders. The unity and enthusiasm of the audience, dancing and cheering late into the night—even past 3 a.m.—led many to agree: the true headliner of EDC Korea 2025 was the audience itself.
A spectacular fireworks display over Discovery Park capped off the two-day event, etching unforgettable memories for all in attendance.
An EDC Korea official reflected, “For the first time, we hosted this global festival in a brand-new venue, and with over fifty thousand fans bringing their passion, it marked a turning point in Korea’s EDM scene.”
EDC Korea is expected to return next year with an even more powerful lineup, promising to elevate the experience to new heights.
