Former SBS announcer Kim Da-young has revealed her recent status following her resignation from the network, kicking off a month-long “rubstagram” journey with her soon-to-be husband, announcer Bae Sung-jae.
On her Instagram, Kim Da-young recently posted a video capturing the moment she officially left SBS, accompanied by several photos of her first day post-resignation. In the clip, Kim is seen exiting the SBS building after completing her final day at work, where she’s greeted by Bae Sung-jae, who welcomed her with a large bouquet of flowers.
The bouquet, adorned with the message “Congratulations on the start of a new life,” brought a bright smile to Kim Da-young’s face, highlighting the couple’s affectionate bond. Fans responded warmly in the comments with messages like “So sweet,” “Wishing you happiness,” “Congratulations on your departure,” and “You really are Bae Sung-jae’s beloved.”
The couple, who are set to marry this May, have gained support and admiration for their evident chemistry—especially notable given their 14-year age gap. Kim Da-young joined SBS in 2021 through the network’s open recruitment for announcers and became well-loved by viewers, especially for her role in the sports entertainment program Kick a Goal.
Bae Sung-jae, a former star announcer at SBS himself, is now working as a freelance broadcaster. As they prepare for their wedding, the couple has been sharing glimpses of their daily life and relationship on social media, delighting fans with their sweet moments and mutual support.
