Good Boy Episode 10 Recap: Sacrifice, Secrets & Revenge
Good Boy Episode 10 picks up right where things left off, with Jong-hyeon shot and sinking into the water. Dong-ju leaps in and hauls his teammate back to the surface just as sirens wail in the distance, forcing Ju-young’s gangsters to scatter. Jong-hyeon is rushed to the hospital, where the team waits helplessly outside the ICU, hoping their friend will survive.
Jong-hyeon does wake up, but he’s far from recovered — his old ankle injury from the 2018 Sao Paulo incident has worsened, sidelining him for the foreseeable future. Meanwhile, Dong-ju keeps his own condition hidden, still wrestling with his neurological issues as he holds the team together.
Ju-young, on the other hand, tries to strong-arm the Mayor of Insung into helping him cover his tracks. When the Mayor ignores his calls, Ju-young storms a dinner meeting and viciously tortures him into submission, shoving cash down his throat while forcing him to deploy Customs to the docks.
Man-sik, meanwhile, is weighed down with guilt. He regrets ever forming the task force that now sits in ruins — the entire department is under investigation and officially disbanded.
Three months later, Jong-hyeon finally leaves the hospital but learns that his teammates have scattered. Jae-hong is back with traffic patrol, Man-sik is stuck handling petty domestic disputes, Han-na is buried in the dusty records room, and Dong-ju is on cleaning duty, staying at Man-sik’s house to get by.
Through flashbacks, we learn why Man-sik is so protective of Dong-ju: he was the one who first took the troubled youth under his wing, steering him away from fights and into boxing to channel his rage. It’s a bond that explains why Dong-ju refuses to stay down, no matter how far he falls.

Han-na visits Jong-hyeon in the hospital to talk about the past. He admits he hid how badly he was injured back then, but confesses it probably wouldn’t have changed anything between them. It’s clear Jong-hyeon still longs for her, even if he knows there’s no future there.
Meanwhile, Ju-young tightens his grip on Yeon-ha, revealing he knows about her sister — a threat he dangles cruelly as he finalizes his plan for the next Candy shipment. Later, in an unnerving twist, Ju-young shares a meal with Dong-ju, mocking him and warning him to stop fighting before he’s beaten down for good. But Dong-ju’s defiance burns stronger than ever.
In the shadows, Han-na continues investigating what she overheard about the Black Cat Mob. She digs into old records on “Oh Dollar,” a legendary smuggler who supposedly died from a gunshot to the head 15 years ago — but questions linger about whether he really stayed dead.
Meanwhile, Dong-ju strikes back at Ju-young’s syndicate. Using the gang’s telltale watches as clues, he methodically takes down Ju-young’s illegal operations one by one, disrupting shipments and shutting down shady businesses.
When news of Dong-ju’s covert takedowns hits the headlines, the old team realizes he’s back in action — beaten but not broken. As Good Boy Episode 10 closes, Dong-ju gears up for his next move, ready to hit Ju-young where it hurts.
