Jang Wonyoung Donation Brings Hope to Young Patients
Jang Wonyoung donation news has touched many hearts after it was confirmed that she contributed 200 million KRW (approximately 138,000 USD) to support pediatric and adolescent patients. On February 11 KST, Severance Hospital revealed that the IVE member made the generous contribution to help young patients receive proper treatment and grow up in a healthier medical environment.
Her decision reportedly came from a sincere place. Known for her bright “Lucky Vicky” mindset and positive public image, Wonyoung wanted to give back to children and teenagers — many of whom are her peers and loyal fans. She hoped the donation would provide encouragement and practical support for those undergoing treatment.
Funds were divided equally, with 100 million KRW allocated to the Severance Children’s Hospital development fund and another 100 million KRW directed to the pediatric department development fund at Gangnam Severance Hospital. Contribution will help improve facilities and support treatment for young patients in need.
