Jun Hyun Moo made a self-aware joke during the latest episode of I Live Alone, bringing some levity to recent controversies.
On the April 18 broadcast of MBC’s popular variety show I Live Alone, cast member Kian84 returned after filming the fourth season of his travel series Adventure by Accident and was welcomed back by the other cast members. Wasting no time, Kian84 addressed the elephant in the room — the recent scandals involving Jun Hyun Moo and Park Na Rae.
“What happened while I was away?” he asked with curiosity, prompting laughter from the group. Park Na Rae let out a sigh before replying, “So much has happened in just a week,” clearly referencing the two hot topics: Jun Hyun Moo’s controversial livestream with singer BoA, and Park Na Rae’s recent theft incident at her home.
Jun Hyun Moo, trying to keep the mood light, shifted focus to congratulate Kian84 on his recent accolade. “Your New York Marathon episode from Adventure by Accident won the Variety Award at the Korea PD Awards,” he proudly announced.
Kian84, never one to shy away from some playful boasting, responded, “I was the main character in that episode.” Jun Hyun Moo playfully fired back, “Don’t get too hyped. You saw what happens when you do,” referencing his own recent controversy and drawing laughter from everyone in the studio.
Despite the recent tension surrounding the cast, the group’s chemistry and humor helped diffuse the situation, once again showing why I Live Alone remains one of Korea’s top variety shows.
