Kanami Takasaki: From Idol Dreams to San-Spo 55 Queen
Kanami Takasaki is capturing attention across Japan thanks to her stunning beauty, approachable charm, and impressive career journey. Born on July 14, 1997, and standing at 160 cm tall, she hails from Kanagawa Prefecture and has already carved a unique path in the world of entertainment and modeling.
Kanami’s ambition began early. She first dreamed of becoming an idol during third grade, inspired by the hit anime Kirarin Revolution. Her passion for the spotlight led her to enroll in a talent school in her first year of junior high school. By high school, she had already made strides as an exclusive model for the Harajuku-style fashion magazine Choki Choki Girls.
However, the end of that chapter came in February 2016, when Choki Choki Girls ceased publication. At a crossroads and unsure of her next steps, Kanami received timely guidance from her manager, who encouraged her to try something new.

That advice led Kanami Takasaki to compete in the San-Spo 55 Queen Audition in 2018. The competition, celebrating the 55th anniversary of a popular sports newspaper, was a major opportunity—and Kanami made the most of it. She won the Grand Prix, becoming the first-ever San-Spo 55 Queen, a title that helped launch her into wider recognition.
In July 2021, Kanami released her first photo book titled The Gold Inside. It showcased not only her visual charm but also her evolving presence and confidence as a public figure. The book marked an important milestone in her career and solidified her growing fanbase.
With her combination of talent, elegance, and relatability, Kanami Takasaki continues to rise in popularity. Whether it’s in front of the camera or in modeling spreads, she represents a new generation of multifaceted talent.
