LE SSERAFIM’s Huh Yunjin will be taking a brief break from group schedules to focus on her health.
LE SSERAFIM member Huh Yunjin is taking a temporary break from group activities following a recent health setback, according to an official statement from Source Music.
Lower Back Pain Leads to Temporary Hiatus
On April 30, Source Music confirmed that Huh Yunjin had been experiencing lower back pain during practice sessions, and the discomfort has recently worsened to the point where basic movement has become difficult. After undergoing a medical examination, Yunjin is currently receiving treatment and taking time to rest, in line with her doctors’ recommendations.
As a result, she will be absent from LE SSERAFIM’s scheduled fan signing events on May 1 (Counting Stars) and May 2 (MUSIC PLANT). The agency released an English-language statement to fans, stating:
“We will do our best to support Huh Yunjin’s recovery by placing her health as the top priority… She will resume activities once her health has recovered.”
Fans Show Support Amid Brief Absence
While fans may be disappointed by Yunjin’s absence from upcoming promotions, many have taken to social media to express love and support for her well-being, urging the idol to prioritize rest over pressure to perform.
This brief hiatus marks one of the rare times Huh Yunjin has stepped away from group activities since LE SSERAFIM’s 2022 debut, underscoring the demanding nature of K-pop schedules and the increasing industry emphasis on artist health and sustainability.
