Singer and broadcaster Lee Sang-min is reportedly remarrying.
According to a report by Export News on April 30, Lee Sang-min is preparing to hold a wedding ceremony in early summer with a non-celebrity partner. Interestingly, his marriage is set to occur before fellow entertainer Kim Jun-ho, who is scheduled to marry comedian Kim Ji-min in July.
In response, an SBS official confirmed to DongA.com:
“It is true that Mr. Lee Sang-min is remarrying a non-celebrity. The related content will be broadcast on the May 11 episode of ‘My Little Old Boy (Miwoo Sae)’.”
Lee Sang-min is currently appearing on SBS’s ‘My Little Old Boy’ and ‘Dolsing Four Men (Shoes Off, Dolsing For Men)’, both variety shows that follow the lives of unmarried or divorced male celebrities. If his marriage is finalized, it is likely that discussions about his continued participation in these programs will arise.
However, SBS clarified:
“There has been no discussion yet about his future appearances on these shows.”
Meanwhile, Kim Jun-ho, who is set to marry Kim Ji-min in July, has expressed that he hopes to remain on ‘Dolsing Four Men’, despite his change in marital status. Kim Ji-min also commented:
“If Mr. Kim Jun-ho stays on ‘Dolsing Four Men,’ instead of feeling envious, people might think, ‘Oh, even he’s getting married!’ — that could give hope to others. Please don’t cut him from the show.”
Lee Sang-min was previously married to actress and singer Lee Hye-young in 2004. The couple divorced in 2005.
