Singer Lim Bona (BONA) has returned with her third single album ‘Goodnight’, released on April 17th, in celebration of her 10th debut anniversary. This marks her first solo comeback in two years, and the album showcases Bona’s distinctively sensual musical colors.
‘Goodnight’ highlights Bona’s signature sophisticated and dreamy aura, blending deep vocals with an atmospheric soundscape. The song belongs to the R&B soul genre, layered over a dancehall rhythm, and Bona once again proves her artistic growth by participating in both writing and composing the track.
Notably, the new single boldly explores themes of love, seduction, and emotional tension between a man and a woman. It features contrasting moods — from intense passion to whispered vulnerability — all within one song, gripping the listener’s emotions throughout. The choreography, which has also drawn attention, was created in collaboration with renowned choreographers from the U.S. and Japan, known for their work on BTS’s performances. Bona took an active role in performance direction, enhancing the stage’s visual and emotional impact.
In addition, Bona personally planned and produced the album’s design, making this “10th anniversary album” even more meaningful and personal.
Bona shared, “This album commemorates 10 years with our fans, so I put more sincerity into it than ever before. I’m happy that I can show another side of myself through music, performance, and visuals.”
