Our Movie Episode 3 Recap: Da-eum’s Secret and Je-ha’s Risk
Our Movie Episode 3 opens with a revealing flashback: Da-eum was once the top contender for Je-ha’s debut film The Lonely People but mysteriously dropped out. Now, her determination to reclaim the spotlight clashes with her worsening health — and Je-ha’s own past regrets.
Da-eum Demands the Role With Conditions
Da-eum wins the lead role despite a messy leak by Seung-won claiming Seo-yeong was cast. To protect herself, Da-eum demands a written agreement from Je-ha: her illness must stay hidden and she won’t die before filming ends. Je-ha counters — the movie must not be ruined, and her condition must remain secret or he risks being “cancelled” for exploiting her.
Creative Tensions and Personal Conflicts
While Seung-won pushes for a fantasy love plot, Je-ha rejects it, haunted by his father’s neglect during his sick mother’s final days. Da-eum disagrees — she believes the male lead did love the heroine. They clash but sign anyway.
Meanwhile, Seo-yeong shifts the narrative by telling the press she’s only playing a supporting role. Her honesty irritates her agent Go but reveals her deeper connection to the story.

Da-eum’s Health Worsens
After a secret rehearsal celebration, Da-eum collapses. Dr. Kim warns her about the risks but she refuses to back down, even as Gyo-young uncovers hints that Da-eum has planned for death. Despite her condition, Da-eum shines on day one. Je-ha defends her when Seung-won tries to make her feel guilty for putting the remake at risk. The investors are convinced by Da-eum’s performance — her raw, realistic acting secures funding. She even shows Je-ha a secret hospital sky bridge she once planned to jump from, revealing how the film gave her a reason to live.
More Secrets, More Tension
Agent Go, frustrated with Seo-yeong, tries to sign Da-eum instead — but Da-eum refuses, fueling suspicions that Je-ha is manipulating her. Meanwhile, Seo-yeong’s market value drops, adding to the brewing drama.
The episode ends with Da-eum seeing Seo-yeong and Je-ha share a kiss — throwing yet another twist into this tangled, risky production. For more K-Drama recaps, check out the link below.
