Our Movie Episode 4 Recap: Da-eum and Je-ha’s First Kiss
Our Movie Episode 4 begins with a poignant flashback to the filming of The Lonely People. Seo-yeong, confused about her character’s love story, finds unexpected comfort in Je-ha, who confesses he’s never truly loved anyone. This shared vulnerability leads her to make the first move — a moment that still lingers for her in the present.
A Complicated Reunion
Back in the present, Je-ha tries to keep boundaries with Seo-yeong, who can’t let go of her feelings. She kisses him, but he stops her, urging her to focus on the film instead of their past. Meanwhile, Da-eum shows up at Je-ha’s friend Jun-byung’s café, where instead of confronting him about the kiss, she apologizes for her seizure. Je-ha worries about her health but is caught off guard when she calls him a good person.
Seung-won, ever the spin doctor, pushes for a cast photoshoot to boost intrigue about Da-eum. While the media buzzes, Da-eum tries to reconnect with her father, agreeing to a clinical trial even as the new meds cloud her focus.
Nervous Firsts and Bitter Encounters
Before the table read, Da-eum confesses to Gyu-young that she’s anxious about her first-ever on-screen kiss. Jun-byung is now her “manager,” surprising everyone with his overprotective approach. Tensions rise when Da-eum’s old classmate Jae-in shows up, clearly bitter about her lead role.
Conflicting Visions and Old Ghosts
During script work, Da-eum pushes for a more emotional final monologue, clashing with Je-ha’s vision of a stark, unromantic ending. They share a subtle moment of understanding when she hands him a painkiller, saying heartache hurts like any wound.
Meanwhile, Je-ha’s confrontation with Jin-yeo about his father’s plagiarism backfires when he finds Da-eum meeting her for research. Feeling betrayed, he tries to explain his anger, but she simply soothes him instead.

Lines Blurred and Secrets Exposed
Seung-won tries to cut corners with location costs, but Je-ha rejects the idea, showing his deepening concern for Da-eum’s comfort. At the cast dinner, sparks fly: Seo-yeong notices Je-ha’s protectiveness over Da-eum, while Jung-woo, jealous, announces he’s dating Seo-yeong to provoke Je-ha. The tangled triangle leaves Seo-yeong feeling used.
An Unforgettable Kiss in the Rain
After the awkward dinner, Da-eum asks Je-ha about love scenes without love. He tells her she can “use him” for answers anytime — and she does just that. In a sweet, reckless moment, Da-eum shows up outside Je-ha’s house in the rain. Worried for her health, Je-ha tries to send her home, but Da-eum convinces him to stay. She kisses him — her first — fulfilling the promise to “use” him. He kisses her back, blurring the lines between acting and reality. For more K-Drama recaps, check out the link below.
