Park Min Young new drama has officially been confirmed, and it marks a major milestone for K-content on global platforms. On May 26, Amazon Prime Video revealed that The Confidence Man KR—its first-ever Korean original series—is on the way, with Park Min Young starring as the lead.
A Korean remake of the popular Japanese comedy drama The Confidence Man JP, the upcoming series follows three elite con artists who take on the most corrupt and powerful villains across society. Packed with twists, wit, and thrilling deception, The Confidence Man KR promises an exhilarating take on white-collar crime, Korean style.
Park Min Young will take on the role of Yoon Yi Rang, the brainy and charismatic leader of the con team. Known for her acting range in both romantic comedies and intense thrillers, Park is set to showcase a new level of versatility as a genius-level fraudster. The casting already has fans buzzing, with many anticipating her transformation into a stylish, sharp-tongued scam mastermind.
