Reborn Rich Season 2 is officially in development with major global ambitions. On August 8, Artist Group announced that the sequel to the hit 2022 drama The Youngest Son of a Chaebol has entered its planning and development stage. This second season will take place against the backdrop of a multinational corporation, exploring themes of power, love, and ambition as the story expands overseas.
The production aims to introduce new characters and story arcs that build on the success of Season 1. With an expanded worldview and enhanced narrative structure, the series plans to offer a more immersive and emotionally engaging experience for viewers around the world.
Reborn Rich Season 2 Aims for Global Market Expansion
The project is being spearheaded by Artist Company, Lee Jung-jae’s agency, which is overseeing the planning and development. The affiliated Artist Studio, which owns the intellectual property, will serve as the producer. In 2023, Artist Studio strengthened its production power by acquiring Lamont Lane, the co-producer of the original Reborn Rich series.
This marks the first official project since the merger of Artist Company and Artist United into a unified production group. A company representative noted, “We are designing the storyline and characters with emotional resonance for global audiences in mind. This is content tailored for the international market from the very beginning.”
Though casting details have not yet been confirmed, Reborn Rich Season 2 is poised to carry forward the legacy of its predecessor with a bolder, broader scope.
