Suzuko: From Civil Servant to Rising Cosplay Star
Suzuko has captured the attention of fans with her remarkable transformation from a former civil servant to one of Japan’s most promising cosplay talents. Born on November 18 in Hokkaido and standing 163 cm tall, Suzuko’s story is one of creativity, resilience, and passion.
A longtime anime and gaming enthusiast, Suzuko discovered her love for performance early on. During high school, she even formed a five-member girl band, taking inspiration from Akiyama Mi — a character from a popular anime series — to start learning bass guitar. Although she kept her otaku side private at the time, her interests would later become a central part of her identity.
After graduation, Suzuko took a stable path by working at a ward office in Tokyo. However, the position in tax and fee collection didn’t suit her personality or creative spirit. After a year, she decided to return home and reconsider her future. During this time, she gained weight and faced personal challenges — but instead of giving up, Suzuko turned to her first love: cosplay.

Within a short time, she surpassed 600,000 followers across social media and was featured in renowned magazines such as Young Magazine.
