Beom-woo’s Jealousy Reignites in Tastefully Yours Episode 6
Tastefully Yours Episode 6 opens with Yeon-joo reassuring Beom-woo that she isn’t going back to Japan with Min. However, Min soon reveals the real reason for his visit—Chef Tatsuo, their former mentor, is gravely ill. The next morning, Beom-woo and the other Jungjae staff discover Yeon-joo’s note saying she’s gone to Sapporo, leaving behind a detailed Jungjae Manual with 135 handwritten instructions.
Despite her thoughtful preparation, things at the restaurant quickly unravel without Yeon-joo’s leadership. Meanwhile, during their flight, Min reminds Yeon-joo of the pufferfish incident with the Diamant inspectors and makes her promise not to bring it up with Chef Tatsuo.
Back in Seoul, Young-hye confronts Han-woo, who has already found a new head chef for La Lecel. After being told she lacks the talent to earn three Michelin stars, she decides to return to Motto and instructs her team to prepare.
In another part of Seoul, Beom-woo wakes up from a nightmare of Min kissing Yeon-joo, only to receive an unexpected visit from Manager Lee Yu-jin. Pretending to be an average customer, Yu-jin attempts to dig into Jungjae’s recipe secrets. Beom-woo daydreams about Yu-jin exposing his past misdeeds, but reality quickly kicks in. When Yu-jin learns from Myung-sook about a secret recipe book, he immediately calls Young-hye to report his progress. Beom-woo overhears this and begins plotting.
He teams up with Chun-seung—who is equally annoyed by Yu-jin’s behavior—to execute a sabotage plan. They invite Yu-jin for drinks, and while Yu-jin and Chun-seung get drunk, Beom-woo pretends to join in. Once Yu-jin passes out, they stash him in Chun-seung’s garage.
Beom-woo’s hopes lift when Yeon-joo calls, only to crash when he hears Min’s voice instead. Frustrated, he locks Yu-jin in the garage and decides he must go to Sapporo. With limited resources, he asks Chun-seung for money, who tries unsuccessfully to borrow from his father.
In Japan, Yeon-joo visits Chef Tatsuo and is devastated to see him suffering from dementia. He doesn’t recognize her, which shakes her deeply. Min explains that Tatsuo hasn’t been eating and believes that Yeon-joo’s cooking might rekindle his appetite. They visit Le Murir, and a flashback reveals how Yeon-joo once took the blame for a botched dish during an important inspection, leading to her resignation.
Min shares that he will soon be running Le Murir and asks Yeon-joo to return and start fresh with him. Before she can answer, Beom-woo unexpectedly shows up. The confrontation between the two men escalates until Yeon-joo intervenes. Beom-woo finally confesses he came because he missed her.
Back in Seoul, Young-hye sneaks into La Lecel to discover who her replacement is. She finds a document revealing a merger between Hansang and Le Murir.
Later, as Min and Yeon-joo head out to the market, Beom-woo literally throws himself into their path to join them. During dinner, tensions bubble again between the two men. Min not only admits to dating Yeon-joo for three years, but also reveals that they had once planned to open a restaurant called Jungjae together.
The episode ends with Young-hye calling Beom-woo to break the news—Min is her replacement at La Lecel. Just as Beom-woo prepares to confront Min, he sees Yeon-joo laughing with him, and freezes in place, torn between trust and heartbreak.
