Group &TEAM is making waves in the music industry as they have dominated the Oricon charts following the release of their third single, Go in Blind. According to Oricon’s latest weekly chart, released on May 5th, the album reached the number one spot on the combined singles ranking for the week of April 22-28, marking a major milestone for the group.
With a total of 431,000 points in the Weekly Singles Ranking, &TEAM has secured the highest sales of any male artist in Japan this year. This achievement led them to earn a double crown by topping both the Weekly Singles Ranking and Oricon Weekly Music Ranking.
Go in Blind showcases the group’s evolving journey, as the nine members—Huma, K, K, Nicholas, Yuma, Joe, Harua, Taki, and Maki—continue to build on their bond through a series of four seasonal albums. The album reflects their determination to carve out their own unique identity, further solidifying their growing presence in the music scene.
In its first week of release, Go in Blind sold 62,000 copies, surpassing the sales of their previous studio album Yukiakari (雪明かり), and marking an impressive debut. The music video for the title track quickly accumulated 10 million views in just three hours, breaking a record by reaching this milestone four hours faster than the Yukiakari video.
Looking ahead, &TEAM’s momentum will continue with their upcoming tour, 2025 &TEAM CONCERT TOUR ‘AWAKEN THE BLOODLINE’. The two-month tour will span nine cities, starting with performances in Aichi, Japan, on May 10th and 11th, before continuing across Asia, including Tokyo, Bangkok, Fukuoka, Seoul, Jakarta, Taipei, Hyogo, and Hong Kong.
