Tempest K-Drama Teaser Poster Unveils Jun Ji-hyun & Kang Dong-won’s Spy Romance
Disney+ has unveiled a striking new teaser poster for Tempest, the upcoming spy-romance thriller set to premiere on September 10, starring Jun Ji-hyun and Kang Dong-won. The image immerses the leads in dramatic blue and red lighting, instantly sparking intrigue and highlighting the tension that defines their on-screen partnership.
The bold contrast of cool blue against fiery red creates an immediate visual impact, symbolizing conflicting loyalties and blurred moral boundaries. Jun Ji-hyun and Kang Dong-won’s unwavering gazes hint at a partnership forged out of necessity, not trust—where vulnerability coexists with strength. The tagline, “Who will you trust, what will you protect?”, teases the drama’s central themes of loyalty, sacrifice, and deception.
In Tempest, Jun Ji-hyun plays Seo Mun-ju, a former U.N. diplomat drawn into a high-stakes investigation after an assassination attempt on a presidential candidate. Kang Dong-won takes on the role of Baek San-ho, a shadowy operative assigned to protect her. As their paths intertwine, political intrigue and emotional entanglement collide.
