The late Kim Sae Ron’s final work has been released as a moving tribute.

On April 28, the team behind the film Guitar Man (directed by Lee Sun Jung) uploaded the music video for the original soundtrack “A World Without Pain” on the YouTube channel ‘Prossima Music.’ The emotional video, running approximately 4 minutes and 26 seconds, features various scenes from the film, highlighting the range of emotions the late actress portrayed.

In Guitar Man, Kim Sae Ron played Shin Yoo Jin, the keyboardist of the band Volcano. Through delicate and powerful emotional acting, she captured the essence of her character beautifully. One scene even shows her smiling warmly alongside director, producer, and lead actor Lee Sun Jung.

Guitar Man tells the story of an unknown guitarist who joins an underground band, and following Kim Sae Ron’s passing on February 16, the film became her final work.

“A World Without Pain” — written, composed, arranged, and sung by Lee Sun Jung — is one of the film’s theme songs. All proceeds from the song will be donated.

Kim Sae Ron made her debut in 2009 with A Brand New Life and went on to capture hearts through roles in The Man from Nowhere, The Neighbors, Manhole, and more.
