Trent Alexander-Arnold Nears Liverpool Return After Injury
Trent Alexander-Arnold is reportedly close to making his long-awaited Liverpool return after struggling with injuries since joining Real Madrid. The former Reds star, who suffered a hamstring injury that sidelined him for six weeks, is now eyeing a comeback in time for Madrid’s Champions League clash against Liverpool at Anfield.
According to reports in Spain, the 27-year-old has made significant progress in his recovery and could be fit to play on November 4. With four matches left before Real Madrid’s trip to Merseyside, Alexander-Arnold is hopeful of completing his rehabilitation and returning to action by the end of that stretch.

The English full-back’s time in Spain has been challenging so far. He sustained the hamstring injury during the early stages of Madrid’s Champions League game against Marseille, leaving him devastated. It was a difficult setback after what had been a promising start to life at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Before his injury, Alexander-Arnold had established himself as part of Real Madrid’s starting lineup, showing flashes of the form that made him one of Liverpool’s most exciting academy products. However, the return of club captain Dani Carvajal from a knee injury pushed him down the pecking order, limiting his game time and costing him a place in Thomas Tuchel’s England squad in September.
Now, as his recovery nears completion, Trent Alexander-Arnold is determined to make a strong comeback — and a return to Anfield would mark a fitting milestone in his journey back to full fitness.
