tvN 2025 K-Drama Lineup Unveils Second-Half Highlights

The tvN 2025 K-drama lineup for the second half of the year has officially been revealed, and it’s brimming with fresh concepts, strong casting, and genre-blending narratives. From mystical teen romances to high-stakes legal dramas, the upcoming schedule offers something for every kind of viewer—whether you’re in the mood for heartfelt stories or thrilling fantasy.

Kicking off the lineup in late June is Head Over Heels, set to air every Monday and Tuesday starting June 23, 2025. This supernatural romance stars Jo Yi-hyun, Choo Young-woo, Cha Kang-yoon, and Chu Ja-hyun. The drama follows a teenage shaman who envisions a grim future for her first love and sets out to change fate. Adapted from a popular webtoon, the series fuses youthful charm with mystical intrigue.

Next in line is Law and the City, premiering on July 5, 2025. Scheduled for weekend slots, this slice-of-life legal series features an impressive ensemble cast including Lee Jong-suk, Moon Ga-young, Kang Yoo-seok, Ryu Hye-young, and Im Sung-jae. The story centers on five associate lawyers navigating their careers and tangled personal lives in Seoul’s bustling Seocho Judicial Town. The drama aims to offer a grounded and realistic portrayal of the modern legal profession.

In August, viewers can look forward to Love, Take Two, a Monday-Tuesday drama headlined by Yeom Jung-ah, Choi Yoon-ji, Park Hae-joon, and Minkyu. The plot follows a single mother and her daughter as they cross paths with the mother’s first love and his son. This reunion opens the door to a tender narrative about family, emotional healing, and rediscovering love in unexpected places.

Later in the year, Bon Appetit, Your Majesty—also known as The Tyrant’s Chef—will bring culinary fantasy to the screen. Starring Im Yoon-ah, Lee Chae-min, Kang Han-na, and Choi Gwi-hwa, the drama tells the story of a French chef who time-slips 500 years into the past. Landing in the Joseon era, she must navigate palace life and cook for a fearsome king. This whimsical, romantic adventure is adapted from a hit web novel and is sure to captivate food lovers and fantasy fans alike.

Typhoon Corporation offers a more grounded yet gripping tale, set during South Korea’s 1997 IMF financial crisis. With performances by Kim Min-ha, Sung Dong-il, and Junho, the series follows a young man’s attempt to save his family’s failing company amid national turmoil. Expect an emotionally charged portrayal of economic resilience and familial loyalty.

Another highly anticipated title is New CEO Project (working title), starring Han Seok-kyu, Bae Hyun-sung, and Lee Re. The drama centers around a master negotiator known as the “god of mediation,” who handles high-stakes corporate disputes. The series promises intellectually stimulating scenarios and intense boardroom battles.

Petty Love (working title), featuring Lee Jung-jae and Im Ji-yeon, is still shrouded in mystery, but early descriptions suggest it will explore complex romantic entanglements. Fans of character-driven storytelling will want to keep this one on their radar.

Spring Fever, starring Ahn Bo-hyun and Lee Joo-bin, brings a lighter, countryside vibe to the schedule. In this romantic comedy, a teacher from the city relocates to a rural school and discovers unexpected love and joy in the simplicity of village life. The setting and tone promise a charming departure from urban dramas.

Rounding out the lineup is Pro Bono (working title), a comedic legal drama with a twist. Starring Jung Kyung-ho and So Joo-yeon, the series follows a power-hungry judge who finds himself demoted to a public defender. The abrupt role reversal injects humor into the high-stress world of law, while also highlighting personal growth and justice.

The tvN 2025 K-drama lineup proves the network’s commitment to pushing narrative boundaries and delivering emotionally resonant stories. With a mix of romantic comedies, legal sagas, and time-travel fantasies, viewers have plenty to look forward to in the coming months. Whether you’re a long-time K-drama fan or new to the genre, this slate promises something compelling for everyone.
