Weak Hero Class 2 Episode 6 is a pivotal turning point in the series, highlighting the characters’ internal battles and their quest to break free from the ties that bind them to the violence of their past.
The episode opens with Si-eun, Hyun-tak, and Jun-tae making a united front to rescue Hu-min from the clutches of Baek-jin and the Union gang. They know Hu-min’s decision to join the Union stems from his deep sense of guilt over the events that have unfolded between them. Hu-min is being manipulated by Baek-jin, pushed into criminal activities, and financially backed by Baek-jin as he does his bidding. But Hu-min is trapped, torn between his family’s needs and the dangers surrounding him.
Meanwhile, Hu-min is forced to continue doing Baek-jin’s bidding, including pressuring another school to join the Union. His motivation? To pay a fine for his father’s ongoing legal troubles. This dynamic highlights the depth of Hu-min’s struggle—he feels responsible for everything happening around him, yet finds himself unable to escape the situation.
At home, Hu-min faces another battle—this time, against his father. Hu-min’s father belittles him, calling him worthless, echoing harsh words from the past about how Hu-min is like his mother, who never listened to him. Si-eun tries to step in, defending Hu-min’s character and insisting that it’s not Hu-min who is the problem, but his father. In a tense moment, Hu-min’s father kicks Si-eun and his friends out of the house, unwilling to hear the truth.
Desperate for answers, the boys turn to Hyo-man, who offers crucial intel about the Union’s operations. It turns out that Baek-jin and the Union gang are working for CEO Choi, the owner of the bowling alley, and a major player behind the criminal activities. The bowling alley serves as a front for money laundering, with the Union gang involved in stealing motorcycles, refurbishing them at Daesung Construction, and selling them on the black market. This operation not only generates massive profits but also ensures the gang stays under the radar, with CEO Choi keeping a detailed register of their crimes.
Armed with this knowledge, Si-eun decides to confront Baek-jin directly, hoping to understand his motivations. When Si-eun arrives at the bowling alley, he waits until late into the evening for Baek-jin’s return. Meanwhile, Hyun-tak and Jun-tae, not heeding Si-eun’s instructions, investigate Daesung Construction on their own. There, they find the ledger documenting all of Baek-jin’s illicit dealings.
Back at the bowling alley, Si-eun and Baek-jin engage in a tense conversation. Si-eun pushes Baek-jin, questioning his motives for going after Hu-min, suggesting that Baek-jin’s need to control him comes from the fear that Hu-min is the only one who truly knows him. He also presses Baek-jin on whether Hu-min feels the same way. For a brief moment, Baek-jin is rattled, but he quickly regains composure.
Baek-jin then shows Si-eun footage from the CCTV cameras at Daesung Construction, revealing that Hyun-tak and Jun-tae have been snooping around, looking for the register of Baek-jin’s crimes. Baek-jin has already sent his Union boys to handle them, and Si-eun, enraged, picks up nearby weapons to fight back. However, he realizes that his usual tricks won’t work against the top dogs of the Union gang.
Just as the situation escalates, Hu-min arrives, pulling Si-eun away from the confrontation. Hu-min explains his decision to quit working for Baek-jin, telling him that he will no longer be his friend and that Baek-jin should never contact him again. As Baek-jin tries to retaliate, Hu-min effortlessly dodges the attack and punches Baek-jin in the face, asserting his newfound resolve. Hu-min walks away, leaving behind his past connection to the gang.
At Daesung Construction, Hyun-tak and Jun-tae manage to find the ledger of stolen motorcycles, but they are ambushed by Union gang members before they can escape. A fierce fight breaks out, with Hyun-tak holding his own against several gang members, including Dong-ha and Seong-Mok. Jun-tae, always ready to help, steps in, and together they narrowly escape, but the Union gang is hot on their heels.
The episode culminates in a harrowing moment when Si-eun receives a call from the hospital about Su-ho’s critical condition. Desperate to get to the hospital, Si-eun rushes out, but in a moment of distraction, he steps into traffic without checking the road. The sound of an approaching lorry fills the air as Si-eun stands motionless, unaware of the danger heading his way.
The episode ends on a cliffhanger, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats, wondering if Si-eun will make it out alive.
