He is taken to one of their warehouses, where Baek-jin orders his brutal beating. Despite the physical torture, Jun-tae refuses to back down, offering to delete any evidence of the ledger only if Baek-jin agrees to leave his friends alone. This defiance sparks a deeper conflict between the two, as Baek-jin grows increasingly anxious about losing control.

As Jun-tae struggles in the warehouse, Seong-je—a former member of the Union gang—awakens to the commotion. Admiring Jun-tae’s unwavering loyalty to his friends and Eunjang High, Seong-je decides to help him escape. With impressive ease, he dispatches the Union members and calls Hu-min and Hyun-tak for backup. Seong-je also asks Hu-min an intriguing question: is he the top dog at Eunjang High? From Seong-je’s perspective, Jun-tae might be the one leading the charge, and perhaps even Si-eun too. In a dramatic shift, CEO Choi arrives at the bowling alley, furious over the Union gang’s failure to protect the ledger. He severely punishes the gang members and reminds them that his power is absolute—he could end Baek-jin at any moment. This ominous warning sets the stage for the eventual showdown.

The tension comes to a head when Hu-min arrives at Yeoil High, publicly challenging Baek-jin to a fight using a megaphone. He demands that Baek-jin pick a date, and if Eunjang High wins, the Union will disband. This challenge sends shockwaves through the high school, leaving everyone at Eunjang High both excited and fearful of the impending battle. As Hu-min calls Hyun-tak to inform him of the challenge, the stakes are raised even higher.

In a touching moment of reflection, Hu-min visits Si-eun in the hospital. Standing outside Si-eun’s room, he apologizes for his involvement in the events that led to the accident and for the role Baek-jin played in it. Si-eun’s mother invites Hu-min in, and the doctors reveal that while Si-eun is stable, his nervous system was affected by the accident, and his body needs rest to recover. Si-eun is trapped in a dreamlike state, facing his past struggles represented by Beok-seon in a boxing ring. However, Si-eun wakes up, making a firm decision to return to his friends and his life.
