xikers brought the house down at their first-ever Korean solo concert, kicking off their 2025 WORLD TOUR “Road to XY: Enter the Gate” with an unforgettable night of high-energy performances, heartfelt moments, and long-awaited reunions. Held on May 3 at Yes24 Live Hall in Seoul’s Gwangjin-gu, the concert marked a pivotal moment for the rising boy group and their devoted fandom, Roddy.
A Long-Awaited Return for Jung Hoon
The evening held extra significance as it marked the first time all ten members performed together on a full stage since Jung Hoon’s return from a two-year hiatus following a cruciate ligament injury. Emotions ran high as he stood before fans once again, declaring, “I’ve waited so long for this. I’m ready to tear up the stage.”
xikers launched into their explosive debut track “XIKEY”—a hit that charted on the Billboard 200—instantly energizing the crowd. The power-packed setlist continued with favorites like “Red Sun,” “Oh My Gosh,” and the high-intensity “DO or DIE.”
A Celebration of Growth and Passion
Opening the concert, the group shared their joy:
“Our dream of a solo concert in Korea has finally come true. It’s an honor to present a stage filled with our passion. We hope tonight becomes a meaningful memory for everyone here.”
Throughout the night, xikers showcased both group unity and individual charm. Minjae, Sumin, and Yeochan unveiled “CANVAS,” a self-composed track they had waited over two years to perform. Sumin shared, “People kept asking about this song—I’m so glad we finally got to show it.”
Unit Performances and Emotional Highs
In a touching moment, Jinsik, Hyunwoo, Jung Hoon, and Seeun delivered a stirring cover of Justin Bieber’s “Holy”, complete with ambient LED visuals. Jung Hoon also took a risk with his first-ever live rap, admitting he was nervous but encouraged by fan reactions.
On a hotter note, Junmin, Yoo Jun, and Hunter delivered a sultry performance of “Ring-a-Ling” with Fedora flair and acrobatic moves. “We wanted to show our own dance colors, and I think it worked out great,” said Junmin, while Hunter added, “This was a sexy, hip concept—totally different from our last tour.”
Fan Love and New Tracks
Fans were treated to unreleased gems, including the nostalgic hip-hop track “BACK OFF”, the quirky and symbolic “Jelly with All-Stars,” and the dramatic “You Hide We Seek”—a visually rich performance that used LED screens and chairs for a theatrical flair.
The concert wrapped on an emotional note with “MOONWALK,” a touching fan song performed live for the first time. As fans waved moon-themed slogans, one member confessed, “I didn’t want to get too excited, but how could I not? I wanted to turn back time tonight. Thank you, Roddy, for everything.”
What’s Next for xikers?
With the Seoul show complete, xikers will hit the road for the rest of their global tour, making stops in New York, Rosemont, Atlanta, Dallas/Fort Worth, Los Angeles, and Tokyo. Their momentum is only growing—and Roddy will be right there cheering them on every step of the way.
